How PJ Celebrated World Preemie Day

1) Demanded breakfast at 5:30 am.

2) Demanded second breakfast a la Merry & Pip at 9:30 am.

3) Played nicely in his car seat until “Boondocks” came on the restaurant radio, then had a dance emergency and insisted on being taken out to dance on the table (a la cousin Korin) to the vast amusement of the waitresses.

4) Blew out his diaper. Twice.

5) Giggled uncontrollably at Mommy & Daddy singing “I Feel Good” for his entertainment.

6) Played with rubber duckies in the bath tub.

7) Started mimicing Mommy’s movements during tummy time.

8) “Helped” Mommy fold laundry.

9) Had guy time with Daddy while Mommy went to the gym.

10) Activated his Small but Mighty Preemie Powers and pulled himself up in his crib for the first time!

Happy Preemie Day, peanut!

    • Thank you! And perfect timing on that reminder as I am laying here wide awake because “somebody” hasn’t figured out that rolling over works BOTH ways and yelled for me to come rescue him and flip him back over at 3 am. It’s going to be a multi-coffee morning for sure!

      • That’s no good:( but shortly he will be up and running and these days will be long forgotten or better yet just lost in a pile of other memories that will seem small in comparison to some of the other things he will do that seem so much greater 🙂 these days are so tiring but I’m hoping it won’t last to much longer. Good luck at getting back to sleep.

      • Thanks 🙂 I can’t complain too much, he sleeps through 9 nights out of 10 and the extra midnight cuddle was nice – but my alarm will be going off in 30 minutes, so no getting back to sleep for me! Oh well lol.
