I don’t get all this #SochiProblems stuff – MY Winter Olympiad is going swimmingly. I just received my standings from the Baby Olympic Committee (BOC) and I’d say my medal hopes are good.
Event 1: Cheerio Curling
Currently in first place. My sweepers, Roxie and Velma, have done an excellent job helping me get my missiles right on the button.
Event 2: Cross Country Crawling
Mommy keeps stopping me just when I’m about to break my records – no fair!
Event 3: Mirror Dancing
Going well, but getting some stiff competition from that handsome boy in the moose onesie.
Event 4: Couch Skeleton
Again, blocked by Mommy. The BOC really ought to do something about the lousy officiating in this house.
Event 5: Bouncer Jumping
My best hopes for an individual medal. I shall bounce bounce bounce and make Tigger proud.
Event 6: Toy Hockey
Naiiillled it. Call me PJ Oshie!
Event 7: Floor Slaloms
One unfortunate wipeout this morning but Mommy kissed it and got me back in the running. BOC complaint withdrawn…for now.
Event 8: Carseat Bobsled
I don’t like this one, but at least I look cute in my uniform, right?
Event 9: Speed Crawling
An unfortunate third place ranking. Those kitties are FAST!
Event 10: Marathon Sleeping
Disqualified. I just get so huuuuungry!
Altogether, I think I’ve got a strong program here. Mommy says she’ll give me a gold medal if I quit trying so hard at Couch Skeleton.
The other day, my mommy and daddy went out – without me, can you believe that?! So I went to have a sleepover at my Nana’s house, yay! My PopPop read me stories:
My Uncle Caleb is home from college, and he played with me too!
We’re the stripe twins! I even tried to steal his soda, but he caught me 😦
I wasn’t even scared at bedtime because my friend Michael was there to keep me company.
In the morning, my mommy came to get me and I was so happy to see her, I gave her lots of big, wet, slobbery kisses (well, after she fed me anyway). Then she took me home, and I was really happy to see my daddy too! And my bouncer!
Bounce bounce bounce…what was I saying? Oh yeah…
It’s good to be home again.
I really love when Mommy puts oatmeal on my spoon!
You’re so slow, Mommy! I am hungry hungry baby! Here…let me…before I staaaaaarve.
Hmmmmm…maybe this work better?
Wait, did I hear someone say bathtime?
You will not believe the day I had yesterday. Seriously, it was the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. It all started last weekend…
Most days, I’m a happy little guy. I jump around and dance and have lots of fun!
But yesterday, my belly felt so icky that I cried and cried. All I wanted to do was sleep.
My mommy felt real bad that I caught a germ from her, but I love and snuggle her anyway!
I’m so glad I don’t ever have to get sick again! Right, Mommy? Mommy? Oh boy.
I better take another nap.
This weekend, Mommy & Daddy gived me cereal to eat – with a SPOON!
At first I was all “Whhhaaaaaat?”
Then I thought “Yuuuummm!”
Do you know how good cereal is? It’s so good I just had to lick it off my bib between bites!
But then Mommy putted me in my high chair and I said “No way Mommy! This thing is a car seat in disguise!” (I did stop yelling to take my bites though – did I mention I love cereal?)
And then I thought about it some more and figured anywhere I sits to gets fed is ok by me!
Nom nom nom, is it dinnertime again soon?
My best friend is snuggly and soft.
My cousin Jaxson and his mommy came to visit today! At first, we were both so sleepy…
